Mit "Disko" präsentiert Shantel nach dem Smasher "Bucovina" nun den zweiten Teil seiner Gypsy-Sessions-Serie, die im Rahmen der CD-Compilation "Shantel: Bucovina Club" (AY 03) erscheint. Für "Disko" kooperierte Shantel mit dem legendären serbischen Boban Markovic Orkestar, das seit Jahren als das beste Blasorchester Ex-Jugoslawiens gilt.

Shantel ließ das Orchester für die Aufnahmen seiner Version von "Disko" auf "Click" einspielen, also auf einen geraden, gesequencten Takt hin, das später ermöglichen sollte, den hochenergetischen, blechernen, Polka-Ska des Boban Markovic Orkestars zu überarbeiten. In den Remixen von RAS, Haaksman+Haaksman und The Friends of Boban trifft original Balkan Sound auf Two Step-Grooves, Ska-Riddims und Leftfield-Beats - the East meets the West in der Balkan-Disko des Bucovina Club.
