TRACKLIST
A1 Dennis DJ "Tire A Camisa"
A floor shaking, rumbling rocker. Produced by Dennis DJ, on of Furacao
2000's most prominent producers. Furacao 2000 is THE Rio funk sound
system
A2 Bonde Do Tiagro "A Baile Todo"
The Nr.1 boy group of baile funk comes with a Portugese electro version
of "Who Let The Dogs Out?". Artur Baker, eat your heart out!
B1 De Falla "Popozuda Rock n'Roll"
A track that was started as a joke by its producers and eventually
became a big hit amongst Rio's sound systems. 808 beats and a heavy
metal guitar, combined with the furious raps of De Falla make this tune
a true Baile Funk anthem. As if Russell Simmons and Rick Rubin teamed
up again, this time in Rio.
B2 MCs Naldinho and Beth "Tapinha"
Another Furacao 2000 production, "Tapinha" was one of the biggest baile
funk hits of recent years. The tune became so big in Brasil, that a
samba version was made of it (featured on the CD compilation).
